I was born and raised in Hyderabad, India - Rahul Reddy - Founder From San Francisco
Hello there! My name is Rahul Reddy from San Francisco, and I am the brain behind TheStashow. Let me take you on a journey that started with a childhood friendship and culminated in an innovative business venture.
I and my friend Mahesh have been inseparable since our kindergarten days. Growing up together, we always had a shared passion for entrepreneurship and exploring new business ideas. We spent countless hours brainstorming and dreaming of creating something remarkable. After completing my schooling, I set out on a path to pursue my masters in the United States. Landing a job in the vibrant city of San Francisco, I thought my entrepreneurial aspirations might have to take a back seat. However, my zeal for earning money innovatively never wavered.
As I immersed myself in the dynamic tech and startup culture of the Bay Area, inspiration struck like a bolt of lightning. It was during this time that Mahesh and I stumbled upon the idea for TheStashow. We realized there was a significant gap in the market for a platform that brought together content creators and viewers in a unique and engaging way.
Our idea for TheStashow
Our idea for TheStashow was simple yet powerful. We aimed to create an online platform where content creators could showcase their talent, connect with their audience, and monetize their skills effectively. TheStashow would provide a space for users to discover diverse content, ranging from captivating performances to informative tutorials, all while supporting the creators financially.
With this vision in mind, we embarked on a journey to bring TheStashow to life. We assembled a talented team, leveraging their expertise in design, development, and marketing. Together, we tirelessly worked towards transforming our idea into a reality.
As we launched TheStashow, the response exceeded our expectations. Content creators flocked to the platform, appreciating the opportunities it provided them. Audiences embraced the variety of content available, forming a vibrant and engaged community. TheStashow quickly became a go-to destination for individuals seeking fresh and entertaining experiences. Through our venture, we aimed to inspire others to chase their dreams, take risks, and create something meaningful. We firmly believe that entrepreneurship is not limited to a specific location or background. By sharing our story and success, we hope to motivate aspiring entrepreneurs worldwide.
Remember, the road to success is often paved with challenges and setbacks. However, it is through perseverance, passion, and a willingness to learn from failures that we truly grow and achieve greatness. So, join us on this exciting journey as we continue to push the boundaries of innovation and build a platform that empowers both creators and viewers. Together, let's make TheStashow the epitome of creativity and community!
I was born and raised in Hyderabad, India - Mahesh Soppari
When I turned 20, my parents gave me a Windows desktop for my birthday. They caught me playing video games on it and challenged me to find a way to make my desktop creative. During that time, I had a persistent idea in my mind about how I could utilize my desktop to make money. However, I was often preoccupied with playing Counterstrike 2.0.
After I graduated
I worked for a company called Sitel India Private Ltd as a customer support executive. Later, I worked as an IT recruiter for Access Global Solutions. However, due to some health issues, I had to quit my job.
Afterwards, I attempted to start a dropshipping business called Kidsra Educational Toys on Shopify with an investment of $500. However, my lack of experience and absence of guidance resulted in significant losses. As a result, I decided to gain valuable experience by seeking employment opportunities within the startup industry.
My First $5
My mission was always to run a successful online business. After leaving my job in 2016, I collaborated with a startup company called Paymitime India Pvt Ltd as a Digital Marketing Executive. As we know, startups can be unpredictable, and I undertook all the roles and responsibilities. I got involved in HR recruiting, as I had prior experience in it, and traditional marketing. I wanted to learn everything about how a startup operates, and even though my pay was minimal, I stuck with the company and gave my best. In 2019, I started making money online from a platform called Fiverr and I remember how i made my first $5 online, but as I was working for a company, I didn't concentrate much on it.
Unfortunately, the startup company I was working for shut down due to lack of funds. A group of people with a similar mindset then started a company called Brings Local Delivery App, where I attended an interview and got selected. We made around 50,000 app installations with a very good number of orders per day.
Suddenly, the pandemic hit in 2020, and everything got shut down. I was newly married, and my wife was pregnant, but company didn't pay us due to the pandemic and lack of funds. I was in a difficult situation because I needed to visit hospitals for my wife's hospitalization. At that moment, I realized that having a primary job meant nothing to me. In a defining moment, I turned down job offers. I didn't want to be the knight in somebody else's castle; I wanted to be the king of my own.
Action Taker
I immediately started working on Fiverr again and made around $400 in just a month. My vision was completely different, and I invested all the money into affiliate marketing. I remember how I made my first $996 from single product within a day this money helped me for my misses hospitalization . And My idea was to show people how to make money. So, I made videos and posted them on a YouTube channel I had, followed by no one. To my surprise, strangers took an interest in my videos, lots of them. I thought, "This is crazy," and in April of 2020, I registered a new YouTube channel called Makedirect by Soppari and started making videos.
I then started a startup on my own as a sole proprietor called Critaudit.com and generated around $12,000 within six months with affiliate marketing. Now, I am an author of a book called "Soloplanner Recession Proof," Collabig.com and I became disillusioned with the agency model as we were supporting other clients to build their business.
I innovated something better. "We're going to teach our clients to fish for themselves. No more total dependency on us. It robs them of controlling their own destiny."So we began teaching our secret sauce. Our clients loved it because they could take back control over their marketing, the lifeblood of their business – but with our help and expertise guiding the way.At the age of 26, I started with a YouTube channel back in 2019, and today I'm blessed with a team of five and a company doing over thousands of dollars a month. Not bad for a decade. When we help clients take marketing into their own hands
